Its ground clearance is a major feature, and the car offers a comfortable but firm ride.

Skoda Yeti is an SUV-sized crossover that excels on the off-road. It costs approximately PS20.800 for the 1.2TSI and starts at PS16.600 in the base S trim. The entry-level petrol version, which costs around PS16,000.600, is almost identical to the Nissan Juke. Its 1.2-litre petrol engine is paired to a six-speed automatic transmission with paddle shifters. The Skoda Yeti is less expensive than its rivals, particularly the 1.3-litre petrol model.

This is the version that will account for the majority of Yeti sales in Britain. It comes with a manual six- or five-speed gearbox and is quite unusual in appearance. It also boasts a functional seating layout and switchgear derived from the Superb.

Although the original Yeti looked unattractive at first, the updated model is much more modern. It now sports an all-new face, eschewing the distinctive inset foglights that were so common in other VW Group cars. Skoda is competing against some of the most eye-catching rivals, even though styling changes can make or destroy a car. So, which of the two is better? Let's take an in-depth look.

An automotive technician provides repair services and maintenance to vehicles. He/she can be found at auto shops, garages and service centers. He/she works with customers to repair their cars and trucks, ATVs or snowmobiles. An automotive technician must be able to diagnose problems and make repairs quickly, safely, accurately, and efficiently.

If you want to be an automotive technician, you need an associate degree from vocational school. After completing the program, he/she must pass ASE certification. ASE stands in for American Society of Mechanical Engineers. There are two sections to the ASE certification test. One section tests knowledge of mechanical components, while the other section tests skills in practical areas. To take the test, you must visit one of the approved testing locations. These testing sites can be found online and through your local dealer.

A candidate must pass the state exam after passing the test to become an automotive technician. This process can vary depending on where the applicant lives. Some states require that candidates attend training courses, while others permit them to learn independently. In addition, some states license technicians immediately after they receive their license, while others wait until they have completed at least six months of employment as an automotive technician.

To get started as an automotive technician, a person should apply to a local automotive dealership. New employees are usually apprentices when they first get hired. Apprenticeship programs last about three years. This is when a student can learn how to do basic repairs such as changing oil, adjusting brakes and replacing tires. Some students learn how to do advanced repairs, such as installing air filters, replacing shocks, repairing engines, and replacing transmission fluids. Most schools offer classes during regular business hours. Some schools also offer evening classes, if necessary.

When a student has completed his/her apprenticeship, they become a journeyman. Journeymen can spend up to five years learning how major systems work, including transmissions, differentials. They also learn how to adjust steering gear and suspensions. Journeymen also learn to fix complicated problems, such as rebuilding engines or troubleshooting electric components. Because they have the experience and knowledge to do the job right, employers love hiring journeymen.

The Bureau of Labor Statistics predicted that this number would rise by 18% from 2009 to 2020. When a candidate plans to open his/her own shop he/she should be ready to invest thousands of dollars in equipment.

Technicians with a bachelor's degree earn about $27,000 per annum. Master's degree holders make around $32,000 annually. Salary increases can be common.
